What You Need to Know

Here are some FAQs regarding Awana for Families. If you’d like more information or have questions, feel free to reach out to Sarah Breneman for help.

  • What time should we arrive?
If you are in need of childcare for your children ages 2 or under, please arrive by 6:25 so that you can get your child checked in before the event starts.
  • What's the agenda for the evening?
Each Wednesday evening, we’ll start at 6:30 and end at 8:00pm.

    6:30 – 6:40pm – Worship Videos
    6:40 – 7:20pm – Handbook Time
    7:20 – 7:45pm – Games
    7:45 – 8:00pm – Award collection
  • How much will I need to pay for the handbook?
Each child’s handbook is priced at cost: $16.45. There will be no registration fee this year. Please let Sarah Breneman know if you need to make payment installments. We’ll do our best to work with you!
  • Will there be snacks?
Yes! We’ll be handing out snacks at the end of the evening, before the kids leave the building. After awards have been collected, have your child grab a snack to go on the way out the door.
  • What will game time be like?
We ask that each family please bring their own board/card games to play during game time at their own individual tables.
  • What will handbook time be like?
We’ll separate into age groups so that children who are in the same book can recite their sections together. All events will take place on the main floor, and we’ll use the Cry Room and the Lobby to separate the groups. We do have a security team in place at the front and back of the building for the safety of our children.
  • How do I make sure my child is on track?
