Contest Entry Rules for Next Year!

You are invited to be a part of Gingerbread Village next year! This display, hosted by Main Street Church, is one of the many activities that takes place during the Christmas Traditions celebration in Historic Saint Charles. This display of gingerbread creations has become a tradition for many families during the Christmas season. We welcome submissions from young and old to be a part of our culinary village. Representatives from the community participate by judging these marvelous displays and awarding prizes in four categories. In addition, during the Festival, the general public is invited to come Visit and View the Village, then Vote for their favorite to receive the “People’s Choice Award”.
CAVEAT: The theme changes every year and will be announced on Facebook in April or May of 2026, and this page will change to reflect the new theme, along with updated Rules and Entry Forms. Fully-completed entry forms are due in mid-November 2026, so watch for the new theme!  Creations will be displayed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the hours of Christmas Traditions.  Click the link below for the 2025 Rules to get a head start on next season!
